This policy explains what information ZingTales (“we”) collects when you use the service, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and a securely hashed password.
• Your content: the files you upload, and what we produce from them: extracted text, your corrections, translations and exports.
• Payment records: what you bought, the amount, and the payment reference. Card and bank details are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store them.
• Messages you send us: your email address and message from the contact form, kept so we can reply.
• Approximate location: the country your connection comes from, used only to show prices in your currency. We don't store your IP address for this.

How we use it

• To run the tools you choose on your documents and show you the results.
• To take payment, deliver what you paid for, and issue refunds.
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.
• To contact you about your account, payments or important changes to the service.

We don't sell your information, show you ads, or use your documents to train AI models.

Who processes your data

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers for hosting, sign-in, file storage, AI processing (text extraction and translation) and payments. Each handles your data only to provide its part of the service. Pages of a document are sent for AI processing only when you run a tool on it.

Who can see your documents

Your documents are private to your account. Other users can't see them. We look at a document only when you ask us to help with it, or when we're required to by law.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep each document for 7 days after you upload it, then delete it automatically, with everything made from it. You can delete a document sooner at any time from your library, which removes the file and everything made from it. Download anything you want to keep before then. To delete your whole account, reach us through our contact page. We keep payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Cookies and storage

We use your browser's storage to keep you signed in and remember a few preferences. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, reach us through our contact page.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we'll update the date above and let you know by email or in the app.
